Drug Take Back Day

October 26th is National Drug Take-Back Day, and part of RyeACT’s observance of Red Ribbon Week. The take-back bin is in the lobby of the Rye Police Department and is available ALL DAY for safe disposal of medications.

Red Ribbon Week raises awareness of the devastation caused by drugs for families and communities and encourages youth to stay drug free. Once again, we join with our community partners to remind Rye residents that you can do your part for the health and safety of the community and the environment. Clean out your medicine cabinets and bring expired or unused medications to the collection bin because:

Reduced Access = Reduced Use

Responsible Disposal = Reduced Contamination!
