DESCRIPTION:This program will help parents understand current trends in youth substance use\, with a special emphasis on Vaping and e-Cig use\, which are on the rise. DESCRIPTION:Jermaine Galloway aka “The Tall Cop” will be in Rye for several presentations. Mr. Galloway talks about the importance of being aware of current trends in youth substance use for parents\, school personnel\, law enforcement\, and other professionals. He also talks with students about the risks of substance use and underage drinking and making healthy\, safe choices.\n\nHe’ll be doing a presentation for school personnel\, prevention and treatments professionals\, and law enforcement on Monday\, March 12th at 3:15 PM.\, followed by a presentation for parents MOnday evening at 7:00PM and two assemblies for students on March 13th during the school day.\n\nThis program is being presented in partnership with Rye High School and the Rye HS Parent Organization.
